We are brought together to honor the life of Charles Kennedy Johnson, known affectionately as Charles, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 1, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio, due to a heart attack. Born on Wednesday, September 15, 1965, in Inez, Kentucky, Charles' journey through life was marked by an infectious laughter and a deeply rooted love for his family.

Charles is survived by his beloved son, Charles Turner, his devoted mother, Edna (née Luster) Johnson, his loving girlfriend, Beverly Morgan, as well as his cherished nephew and niece, TJ and Sasha Johnson, along with cousins and numerous family members who adored him. His life was a testament to the power of joy and the importance of family, as he found his greatest pleasure in shared moments of happiness and humor.

Described as loving, funny, and thoughtful, Charles' legacy is one of warmth and kindness. As Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Charles made everyone around him feel loved, and his memory will continue to bring smiles to the faces of those who knew him.
