It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Leah Margaret Clark (nee Carbery) on Thursday, February 29, 2024 surrounded by her family at her home in Alliston, Ontario, at the age of 88.

Predeceased by her beloved husband and life partner of 64 years Stan. Loving mother to Kevin (Sheelagh), Kirby (Barbara), Corley (Scott) and Kent (Katune). Proud grandmother to Taylor, Alexander, Samantha, Mackenzie, Harrison, Clark and Bailey and great-grandmother to Olanna. Dear cousin to Georgia and much loved by her honourary son Bob (Donna) and family. Predeceased by her sister Mance Lee and parents James Harold and Margaret. Leah will forever be remembered by her many nieces and nephews and life-long friends from Toronto, Alliston, Alcona Beach and around the world - particularly Joan, Elvia, Mary and Margy who provided her with great comfort and support in her final years. She was a devoted citizen and member of the Anglican church within her communities across North Toronto, Etobicoke and Green Briar - always looking forward to her weekly bridge games. Her family would like to thank the caring staff at the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake and SE Health nurses for the wonderful care Leah received over the past eight months.

A visitation will be held Friday March 8 from 6 - 9 PM at Drury Funeral Centre, 519 Victoria St E., Alliston, ON. Funeral service will be Saturday March 9 at 11 AM at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 508551 Hwy 89, Mulmur, ON. Immediately following the funeral service there will be a celebration of Leah’s life at the Drury Funeral Centre.

Donations in Leah’s memory may be made to the Alliston Food Bank or the Southlake Regional Health Centre.
