<p>Rosie Faye Tate</p><p><br></p><p>Haysi, VA – Rosie Faye Tate, age 65 of Bartlick, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at her residence. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Danny Harold and Cora Dotson Cantrell. She was a homemaker and of the Freewill Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Cantrell and a sister, Pearl New. </p><p> Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Gregory Willard Tate, a son, Greg Jr. (Jessica) Tate of Cana, VA, two daughters, Mavis (Tommy) Childress of Ararat, VA and Regina Tate, grandchildren; Emilee, Hadlee, Abner, and Abigail, a brother, Ronnie Cantrell, and two sisters, Opal Neal of Manassas, VA and Karen Cantrell of Galax, VA. </p><p> A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the Family Cemetery, Triple T Drive, Bartlick with Joe Jackson officiating.
