Larry Robert Barclay of Arcade, NY passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at his residence at the age of 81.

He was born on September 28, 1942 in Apollo, PA and was a son of the late Harry and Goldie (Baker) Barclay. He was a decorated Army veteran that proudly served in the Vietnam war from 1964-66 as part of the 101st Airborne Division. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he also enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his children and granddaughters who were his pride and joy.

Larry is survived by his wife, Connie (Sheppard) Barclay whom he married on February 9, 1980; his children: Derek (Rebecca) Barclay of Elma and Kelly Barclay of Illinois; his granddaughters, Evelyn and Molly; his siblings: Harry, Don, Rodney, Joyce and Earl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Chuck.

Friends may call on Monday, March 18, 2024 from 11am-12pm at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade. Interment will be held in the Western New York National Cemetery in Corfu.
