Charles E. Boone, aged 91, passed away on March 1, 2024, in Claremore, Oklahoma. Charles, lovingly known as Charlie, was born on October 23, 1932, to William "Bill" and Lois Boone in Brister, Arkansas.

Charlie graduated from Stonewall High School in 1951 and was voted “all-around boy.” He then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Arts from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, in 1955.

In January 1956, Charlie enlisted in the United States Army. He was stationed in Mannheim, Germany, for a short time and proudly served his country until 1962.

Charlie married Dahlia Mae Cole, and in August 1958, they welcomed twin boys Karl and Kent.

Charles was a territorial tire salesman at Firestone for 11 years and then worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber for two years in Ada, Oklahoma. In 1972, he purchased a Sinclair gas station in Claremore, Oklahoma. With his son Karl, the gas station was converted into Claremore Tire. Sadly, the tire store caught fire in 1996, resulting in an entire loss. Charlie had the store completely rebuilt and reopened. In 1999, Charlie retired from the tire business.

Charlie loved to play golf. You could often find him at Heritage Hills golf course in Claremore. If not on the golf course, Charlie was playing the piano and singing hymns at home and his church in Foyil. His faith in God played a significant role in his life.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lois, wife, Anona Boone, and son, Kent Boone.

Charles is survived by his sister, Betty Moore, mother of his children, Dahlia Mills, son Karl Boone, granddaughter Kristie Leon, and great-granddaughter, Camila Leon.
