<p>BRICKER, John Earld Sheldon </p><p>December 2, 1949 - February 27, 2024</p><p>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John “JB” Bricker on February 27, 2024, at the age of 74 with his family by his side.</p><p>John was a loving and adoring partner to Sue Brent. A much loved father to Jessica Seaton (Zach), Chad Bricker (Kate) and step father to Jason Brubacher (Stephanie). A cherished “Papa JB” to a total of eight grandchildren; Journey, Ocean, Jonesy, Rip, Liam, Benny, Alexander and Tommy. John also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Nancy Brent (Mark) who adored him. He will be greatly missed by an uncle, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and the mother of his children, Nancy Foster. </p><p>Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Yvonne Bricker, his sister Mary Lou Bricker, a son in infancy, John Bricker, and mother-in-law Shirley Brent. </p><p>John was retired from a life-long career with Lear Seating Corporation in Kitchener where he made life long friendships. He was an honoured life member of the Hespeler Legion Branch 272, where he was actively and passionately involved. John will be missed by so many other family members and friends whose lives have been touched by him.</p><p>As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. All are welcome to join in A Celebration of Life, held at the Hespeler Legion, 26 Schofield Street, Cambridge, Ontario N3C1Y3 on Sunday March 17, 2024 from 1pm-4pm. </p><p>To honour John, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Spina Bifida Families of Canada <a href="https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/sbcan/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/sbcan/</a></p>Obituary
