TEMPLETON: June Hazel (Corbett) Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital Lindsay, on February 28, 2024. June was predeceased by her husband Neil Templeton. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Cathie (Bruce) Richardson, and their children Kevin, Andrea, and Matthew, and by her son Colin (Sharon) Templeton and their daughter Dayna. June will be remembered by her extended family and friends.

Family was always important to June and she was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She worked as a secretary for the Ministry of Lands and Forests for ten years before marrying and becoming a full-time homemaker and world-class Wife and Mother. She loved being out in God’s creation and travelled and camped coast-to-coast in Canada with her husband, Neil. She passed along her love of nature and birding to her children and grandchildren. June discovered her creative side after her husband passed away in 1998 and learned to paint with watercolour and sketch with pencil and charcoal.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Old Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or World Vision
