<p>Arland J. Richmond, 81, lifelong resident of Malden, Entered Eternal Rest on February 28, 2024. </p><p><br></p><p>Arland was the the loving son of the late Alice (Singer) & Richard Richmond. He had a long career as science professor, teaching at Boston University, Harvard University and Bunker Hill Community College. </p><p><br></p><p>He was survived by his dear friends Leonardy Veliz-Pacheco & Mirian Gomez Contreras and their family.</p><p><br></p><p>Services at the Goldman Funeral Chapel 174 Ferry Street, Malden on Sunday March 3 at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at the Agudas Achim Cemetery in Melrose.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital www.stjude.org.</p>January 12, 1943 - February 28, 202401/12/194302/28/2024
