SEYMOUR: Deborah M. (Conti) Sciaraffa, age 76 of Seymour, beloved wife of Paul Sciaraffa, entered peaceful rest on Saturday, February 24, 2024 in her home surrounded by family. She was born in New Haven on February 18, 1948, the daughter of the late Edward and Julia (Martha Sliby) Conti.

Growing up an only child, Deborah always wanted a big family, and she was blessed to have had 4 cherished children to fill her house. Family was most important to her, and she took pride in raising her children as well as spending time with her adored grandchildren and great-grandson. Deborah loved to host and was always the last one to leave a party. She and Paul opened Conti’s Restaurants in both Milford and Southington in memory of her great-grandfather. They then both retired from the Carousel Gardens Restaurant in Seymour where they met many of their beloved friends.

In addition to her husband Paul of 57 years, survivors include her loving children, Michelle Breton of Portland, Gena Sciaraffa and her partner Jason Wyse of Plainville, David Sciaraffa and his wife April of Seymour and Brian Sciaraffa and his wife Katerie of Seymour; eight cherished grandchildren, Brian Myers and his wife Chelsey, Sarah Breton and her partner Ryan Cunningham, Eddie Bruce III, Olyvia Sciaraffa and her husband Nicholas Blardo, Hannah Breton and her partner Christopher Cohen, Steven Sciaraffa and his partner Amina Khokhar, Mallory Sciaraffa, and Jason Sciaraffa; her adored great-grandson, Carson Cohen, as well as many friends and extended family.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11am DIRECTLY in the Church of the Good Shepherd (St. Nicholas Parish), 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour, CT 06483. Committal services will be held at the VA Cemetery, Middletown, at a date and time to be announced. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 161 W.
