Werner<br></p><p>“Trudy”<br></p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Wauwatosa – Gertrude E. “Trudy” Werner, 98 , passed away at Hart Park Square on Thursday, February 22, 2024.<br></p><p>Trudy was born in Manistique, MI on October 14, 1925 to Walter J. and Elizabeth C. (nee, Henning) Stelter. She married Paul Werner on September 6, 1948. He preceded her in death in 1990. Trudy retired from Western Publishing after more than twenty years. She was a founding member of New Hope Lutheran Church in 1977. Trudy has been active at Hart Park Square and all the communities she has lived in. She also was a member of Get Off you Rocker and Beacons of Hope.<br></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Survivors include her children: Paulette H. Barr, Charles P (Peggy) Werner and Robert D. (Teri) Werner; grandchildren: Matt (Lisa) Barr, Rebecca (Donnie) Sims, Kris (Jim) Wiesner and Kathryn Farrin; great grandchildren, Daizhon, Brandon, Payton, Akil, Kaylie, Trey, Landon, Matthew, Zoe, Cole, Jordyn, Wyatt, Ian, Anslee and Lewis and great great granddaughter: Amiri. Trudy is also survived by her brothers: Donald (Jackie) Stelter and David Stelter and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Trudy was preceded in death by her parents and two infant brothers and her longtime companion Ron Sundre.<br></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Funeral services for Trudy will be at the funeral home on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services.<br></p><p>Memorials may be directed to Water of Life Lutheran Church, Victory of the Lamb Lutheran Church or Brighton Hospice.</p>

            Wauwatosa – Gertrude E. “Trudy” Werner, 98 , passed away at Hart Park Square on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
