Donovan Davis was born on July 17th, 2002, at the Naval Hospital in Oak Harbor, Washington. A son of a career naval officer, he moved to Waldorf, MD in 2004. In 2006 his family moved to Montgomery, AL where he attended pre-school before moving back to Oak Harbor in 2007. He attended kindergarten thru third grade at Hillcrest Elementary. In the winter of 2011, his family relocated to Alexandria, VA where he lived thru the 9th grade. In 2017 he moved to Olathe, KS where he graduated from high school.

He joined the Marine Corps out of high school with the goal to become a CH-53E crew chief. He earned his Aircrew Wings on February 4th, 2022 and reported to the Flying Tigers of HMH-361 later that month. While assigned to HMH-361 he completed a six month deployment to Okinawa, Japan as well as participating in numerous training detachments in California, Nevada, and Arizona.

He is survived by his mother, Amy York of Hilton Head, SC, his father, Greg Davis of Olathe, KS, and his sister Madison Davis of Crozet, VA.
