Ms. Donna P. (Leach) Gare, born on December 17, 1944 in Providence, RI to the late Vera (Duprey) Leach and the late Arthur Leach, passed away at age 73 on May 10, 2018 in North Providence, RI surrounded by her family. Donna was preceded in death by her stepmother: Mary Leach; her brother: Mickey Leach; her sisters: Sandra Mathewson and twin Dale Gardner and by her brother-in-law, Dale’s husband, Earl “Sonny” Gardner; her stepbrothers: Arthur Heroux Jr. and John Heroux, and by her great-grandson: Kaydin A. Almstrom. She is survived by four children: Mrs. Melody A. Wells, Barbara J. Smith, John A. Hayes and Lisa L. Hayes Conti; one brother: Richard Leach; two sisters: Audrey Moran "Bennett" and Patricia Larocca; one stepsister: Mary Rossi; eight grandchildren: Kelly A. Smith Almstrom, Joseph W. Ryan Jr., James F. Smith Jr., Scott A. Hayes, Adam J. Hayes, Austin J. Conti, Joshua R. Conti and Toni Ann Hayes; and three great-grandchildren: Savanna L. Ryan, Nathan L. Almstrom and Kaylie R Almstrom. She also leaves behind all of her extended family members. Donna was a jovial woman who loved to laugh. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, collecting angels, crafting, watching horror and Syfy movies, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. Donna was always ready to help someone if she could. Her soda, peppermint and grandchildren were what made her the happiest. She was a Christian woman who believed in Jesus Christ as her savior and who enjoyed watching her Sunday programs. She was loved by all who met her.
