It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rolando Hoyos, 81, on February 25, 2024. He passed away surrounded by his children and eldest sister.

Rolando is survived by his loving children and grandchildren; sisters and brothers, and countless nieces and nephews.

Rolando graduated from Pedro Domingo Murrilo.

He enjoyed reading and watching world news, talking passionately about everything from politics, current events, history, and the good ol' times.

He would enjoy listening to his "good music" (played loudly), and he loved speeches and had no problem giving them

(sometimes it seemed as if he was aiming to be in the book of records for the longest speech).

Above all, he loved his family and was well loved in return. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He was the most unselfish person; always putting others' needs ahead of himself, right up to the very end.
