<p>In Loving Memory of Stan Slonka</p><p><br></p><p>Hinesburg, VT - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stan Slonka, 75, who peacefully departed from his home in Hinesburg, Vermont, on Saturday February 2nd 2024. Surrounded by the warmth of his loved ones, Stan bid farewell to this world.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Stan was the beloved son of Stanley Martin Slonka and Helen Samborski. His presence brought joy and light to his family's lives from the very beginning.</p><p><br></p><p>Stan pursued higher education with zeal and graduated with a degree in Business Administration from St. Anselm College, NH, and was a proud member of the Order of the Golden Anselmians. His education laid the groundwork for a successful and fulfilling professional journey.</p><p><br></p><p>A true patriot, Stan served his country with honor as a veteran of the Vietnam War Air-force, completing his service in 1972. </p><p><br></p><p>Outside of his professional endeavors, Stan found solace and joy in his hobbies. He had a passion for building model boats, fly fishing, and exploring the depths of literature through reading.</p><p><br></p><p>Above all else, Stan cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to Sophie Slonka and a loving stepfather to Mylene Dubois. His presence enriched their lives with love and laughter.</p><p><br></p><p>In accordance with Stan's wishes, private services will be held for the immediate family. A celebration of his life will be arranged on March 23rd at the Residences at the Essex, allowing friends and extended family to pay their respects and share fond memories.</p>
