Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W61 N498 Washington Avenue in Cedarburg for lifelong resident, Evelyn H. Beuscher “Evie” who passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the age of 89 years from natural causes. Rev. Vicki Simon will be officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm. Burial will be private. Evie was born on February 25, 1929 in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, to the late John and Erna (nee Stoecker) Dietrich. Evie was united in marriage to Norman Beuscher on December 31, 1952 in Irving, TX. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she devoted her time to the Quilters Group, the Layette Project and Book Study group. Evie had a great sense of humor and her smile lit up the room. She loved playing Sheepshead at Pilgrim United Church of Christ. Evie will be remembered for her commitment to those in need and her service to Advocates of Ozaukee County. Evie was happiest when she was outside enjoying nature and watching the Brewers on TV in the back yard. The light of her life was her great-granddaughter, Olivia. Evie is survived by her loving children, James (Kathleen) Beuscher and Mary (Lawrence) Beuscher Sween, grandchildren Aaron (Bess) Beuscher and Ciara (fiance’ Nicholas Anderson) Sween, great-granddaughter, Olivia Beuscher, sister-in-law, Alice Dietrich, nieces, Rachel (Rick) Port, Jeanette Goldsmith, Chris (Don) Roe and nephews, Joel (Catherine) Trapp, Alan (Linda) Dietrich, and Bill Dietrich, her cat Molly, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman, sister Mabel, brothers, Palmer and John and her nephew, Michael Dietrich. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Horizon Hospice Care, all the staff at Cedar Springs, but especially Sarah and Zack for their loving and tender care.
