BEACON FALLS: Sara (Holston) Andrews, age 90 of Beacon Falls, beloved wife of the late Gerald Andrea Andrews, entered peaceful rest on Saturday, February 24, 2024 in Griffin Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Grosse Point Farms, MI, on May 15, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Schener) Holston.

Sara was a devoted mother and wife who cherished her family above all else. She earned her Master’s Degree in library science and was a creative writer, artist and photographer. Sara adored nature and was an animal rights supporter. She also was active throughout her life, whether cycling or running a marathon, and she will be fondly remembered for her impeccable sense of style.

Sara is survived by her cherished daughter, Eva Andrews and her companion Richard Josselyn of Beacon Falls, as well as many relatives and friends she made along the way. In addition to her husband and parents, she was

predeceased by her daughter Miriam Andrews, and her sisters, Marilyn Kujath and Bea Reinbold.
