<p>Clifton Ray “Cowboy” Teets, 73, of Philippi, WV passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, February 26, 2024. He was born in Fayette County, WV on April 5, 1950, son of Barrick and Martha (Sigley) Teets. </p><p><br></p><p>Cowboy is survived by his wife of 36 years Vickie Lynn (Powell) Teets; three children: Barrick “Punk” Teets of Simpson, step-children James Welch (Rhonda) of Philippi, and Amanda Austin (Keith) of Grafton; grandchildren: Miranda Teets, Cody and Noah Bailey, Jax and Lela Austin; and many nieces and nephews. He also loved Andrea Richards, Beth Fridley, and their children: Scarlett Bennett, Brayden Weaver, and Haileigh Fridley as his own. </p><p>Cowboy was a jack of all trades, and was never afraid to get his hands dirty. He loved his family, extended family, his many friends, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed the outdoors, old antique cars, and shooting the breeze with anyone. </p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends will be received at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home 950 George Washington Hwy Grafton, WV, on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 10am until the funeral hour at 1pm with Pastor Joe Palmer presiding.
