<p>Woonsocket — Joseph A. Nicienski Jr., 84, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Karen A. (Kozaczka) Nicienski of Wooonsocket.&nbsp; </p><p>Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Joseph A. and Stella (Ostak) Nicienski. </p><p>He was a United States Navy Veteran. </p><p>Joe was a member of the IWC and American Legion Post 85. He was a graduate of Providence College obtaining a Bachelors degree in English.&nbsp; </p><p>He enjoyed watching sports, was an avid New England sports fan and also a Philadelphia Eagles fan. He loved the beach, enjoyed cooking and was especially proud of his Polish dishes. In his younger years he played hockey for Woonsocket High School.&nbsp; </p><p>Besides his wife Karen he is survived by his three daughters, Stephanie and her husband David Rajabiun of Cumberland, Melissa Natale and her husband Paul of Medford, MA., and Kristen Ross and her husband Dennis of Salem, MA.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br> One brother, Donald Nicienski of Smithfield, RI. Five grandchildren, Olivia, Lia, Evelyn, Quinn, and Madison.&nbsp; </p><p>He was also the brother of the late Michael Nicienski. </p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11 AM in St. Charles Church North Main St. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Thursday from 4-6 PM. </p>

Woonsocket — Joseph A. Nicienski Jr., 84, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Karen A. (Kozaczka) Nicienski of Wooonsocket. 

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Joseph A. and Stella (Ostak) Nicienski.

He was a United States Navy Veteran.
