<p>WHITE, Anthony (Tony) - </p><p><br></p><p>It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Tony, devoted husband, father, uncle, great-uncle and beloved friend to many.</p><p><br></p><p>After fighting a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis, Tony passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at the age of 83.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his loving wife Judith and daughter Shannon. He also leaves a large and loving extended family from across Canada and Ireland. </p><p><br></p><p>He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.</p><p><br></p><p>Fully aware and at peace right to the end. All the things were said, no regrets left, a life well lived.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel (110 Dundas St. E. Whitby) on Friday March 1, 2024 from 11am-1 pm. Followed by a service at All Saints Anglican Church (300 Dundas St. E. Whitby) at 1:30 pm.</p><p><br></p><p>Tony’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto and Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital for their care and compassion. </p><p><br></p><p>If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation which was close to Tony’s heart or other charities of your choice.</p><p><br></p><p>Condolences may be expressed online at www.wctownfuneralchapel.com.</p>Obituary
