Ronalee R. Merritt of Scottsville passed away peacefully on February 24, 2024 at the age of 86.

Ronalee was predeceased by her husband, (Donald/1991), son (Daniel/2021), and brother (Stephen/2021). She is survived by her children: David (Katherine) Merritt and Donna Merritt (David Wright); grandchildren: Brian Ely, Steven (Stephanie) Ely, Allissa Merritt; great-grandchildren: Emma, Collins, Allison, and Logan. She is also survived by sister: Judy (Arnie) Phillips; sister-in-law, Nancy Merritt, dear cousin Amy Jewett; life-long friend Joyce Hooker, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Over the years, Ronalee served as an Election Inspector, was a life member of the Scottsville Volunteer Fire Department Co. 6, and the Scottsville Garden Study Club. The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at Westwood Commons Senior Living Community in North Chili, the staff on 4200 at Unity Hospital, Mary and Jessica from Rochester Regional Hospice Care, and especially to the truly wonderful staff at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center for their kindness, care, and compassion shown to both mom as well as our whole family.

A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Westwood Commons Senior Living Facility, 50 Union Square Blvd, North Chili, NY 14514, Attn: Activities Director, or to Scottsville Volunteer Fire Department 385 Scottsville-Mumford Road, Scottsville NY 14546.
