William Stephen “Steve” Adams, 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Sardis, MS, on February 23, 2024. He was born in Batesville, MS on September 30, 1956, to the late Gerald P. Adams and Mary Nell Davidson Adams.

Steve was a graduate of North Delta High School and attended The University of Mississippi. He began working for Liberty National Life Insurance Company and later moved to Birmingham, AL as a successful agent. Steve loved Alabama football, fishing, and especially his family. He was a friend to many, and he was always the life of the party.

Left to cherish his memory includes his son, Colton Davidson Adams of Birmingham, AL; stepsons, Tanner Sherrill and Tucker Sherrill of Birmingham, AL; brother, Gerald Phillip Adams of Niceville, FL; nieces, Tisha Gilreath and Jennifer Pizarras; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Nell Davidson Adams and Gerald Phillip Adams.

Visitation will be held at Sardis Church of Christ, 414 E Lee St, Sardis on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 1 pm. Funeral services will begin at 2 pm. Reception to follow.

The family would like to thank his niece, Jennifer, and cousin, Tara, for the wonderful care they gave to Steve.
