Mr. James L. Harbison, resident of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, February 23, 2024, at his home at the age of 76. James was born on in Marked Tree on September 5, 1947, the son of Clifford and Grace (Tedder) Harbison.

James was a 1965 graduate of Earle High School, and he worked as a master plumber and electrician for the entirety of his working years, most recently at Holloway Heating and Air in Earle prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and spending time in his shop and garden. He was skilled in woodworking, gardening, and canning.

Mr. Harbison was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Harbison, Jr.; and two brothers, Bo and Bobbie Joe Harbison.

He is survived by four children, Jenny McGrew and husband, Randy, Michael Reynolds and wife, Miranda, Belinda Rhodes and husband, Waymon, and Dianne Poyner and husband, Joedd; his life partner of more than 30 years, Sherry Reynolds; three brothers, Bill Harbison, Rocky Harbison and wife, Dawn, and Ricky Harbison and wife, Spring; two sisters, Peggy McBride and husband, Bob, and Ginger Harbison; a bonus sister, Glenda McNabb and husband, James; 12 grandchildren, Blake Moran and wife, Terrenda, Megan Shepherd and husband, Adam, Megan Center and husband, Hunter, Amber Watkins and husband, Shane, Alyson Killough and husband, McNiel, Maria Reynolds, Cameron Reynolds, Ava Reynolds, Brittany Stephenson and husband, Coy, Dusty Rhodes and wife, Amanda, Heather Harding and husband, Carl, and Ashley Davis; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
