Lance Bachetti, age 83, of Donora, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, February 21, 2024.

He was born April 5, 1940 in N. Charleroi, the son of the late Gino Bachetti and the late Mildred Kyle Bachetti.

Lance was veteran of Viet Nam serving with the U.S. Navy.

He retired from Koppers in Monessen and the Residence at the Hilltop in Monongahela.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Joseph and Anna (Vaira) Posey; and his brother Gary Bachetti.

Lance leaves a legacy of many loving family members and close friends including his wife of 61 years, Bernadette; three children, Lanette, John (Jill), and Pam; three grandchildren, Tamlynn "Pumkin" (Patrick Dolfi) Bachetti, Brittany (Randy) Miles, and Josh (Jen) Bachetti; 4 great grandchildren, Lorenzo and Lyla Miles, Caleb Bachetti and Luna Posey Dolfi; two brothers Gino (Terry) and Art; a sister, Diane (Jerry) Smith; sister-in-law, Donna Bachetti; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Dee's Event Center, 514 McKean Ave, Charleroi, PA 15022.
