Wyoma Dee Russell Scifres 102, of White Hall, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, February 22, 2024. She was born January 22, 1922, in Warren, to Poledo A. (Poad) and Tabitha Aultman Russell.
Wyoma was a seamstress in Star City for many years. She handmade the most beautiful quilts and loved doing so. She also loved gardening, especially flowers, and she enjoyed reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, AD Scifres; one son, Marshell Russell; two grandsons, Phillip Weaver, and Casey Stricklin; one great-grandson, Oliver Deere; brothers, Eroy, Don, Dowell, and Buster; and sisters, Lucie, Onie, Ora and Monie.
Survivors include her children, Darrell Stricklin, Chester Stricklin, Ratchell Picking, Patricia Wolter, and Bonnie Hayes; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 12-great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Holly Springs Cemetery in Star City, Arkansas.
