Robert “Bob” Ellis Collins, 63, of Richmond, Indiana passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his residence.
One of seven children of the late Zepher and Jeanette King Collins, Bob was born in Connersville, Indiana on July 13, 1960 and graduated from Connersville High School.
On July 15, 1990 Bob married the former Sandra “Sandy” Kaye Cole in Madison, Indiana. Mrs. Collins survives.
Bob was an over the road truck driver for many years. He was a member of New Life Ministries. In his leisure time he enjoyed reading the Bible, watching television, going fishing, and loved to ride his motorcycle.
Besides his wife of 31 years, Sandy Collins, survivors include, four children, Brad (Lisa) Collins, Brandy (Lynn) Muncie, Amanda Zieber all of Kentucky, and Sebastian Collins of Richmond, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Jayden, Christian, Priscilla, Preston, and Austin; a sister, Joy (Jr) Back of Connersville; a brother, Jack (Marilyn) Collins of Hagerstown, Indiana; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a stepdaughter, Shermene Burns; three sisters, Dian Eversole, Jan Farmer, and Brenda Hampton; and a brother, Jeff Collins.
Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Dennis Collins will officiate. Following cremation, burial will be in Lick Creek Cemetery.
