Roberta Rose Schneider
<p>Roberta R. (Werner) Schneider, age 83 of Derby, beloved wife of the late George S. Schneider, entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in Civita Care, Cheshire. Born in Derby on May 14, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Lena (Gaudio) Werner.</p><p><br></p><p>A longtime resident of Derby, Roberta loved her local parish of St. Mary-St. Michael. She worked as a lunch lady in the school for many years before moving to Florida where she became a hostess for Disney until her retirement, a job she truly loved.</p><p><br></p><p>Roberta will be missed by the many relatives and friends she is survived by. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son.</p><p><br></p><p>Relatives and friends are invited to gather in her memory on Saturday, March 9, 2024 between 9am and 11am in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour, CT 06483.
