Mother Jessie Lee Berry Cohens, 96, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital Downtown. She was the widow of the late Bishop Casper Cohens, Sr. and a daughter of the late Lewis Berry and Jessie Lou Sullivan Berry Anderson.

Surviving: seven daughters, Leola Cohens, Magdalene (Richard) Irby, Catherine Donaldson, Delores Ann Cohens and Juanita Cohens all of Greenville, SC, Evelyn (Bishop Johnny) Davis of Lyman, SC and Minister Linda (James) Harrison, of Graham, NC; seven sons, Casper (Julia) Cohens, Jr., Michael Cohens and Jeffery Cohens all of Greenville, SC, Bishop Arthur (Evangelist Martha) Cohens, of Hattiesburg, MS, Jasper (Evelyn) Cohens, Sr., of Woodridge, VA, Dennis Cohens of Panama and James Huff of Greer, SC ; twenty-eight grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren; and loving nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friday, March 1, 2024, 11:00am, - 12:00noon, at Greater St. James Temple.

Funeral Services: Friday, March 1, 2024, 12:00noon, at Greater St. James Temple, with interment on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 2:00pm, in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson SC.
