<p>Greece: Doris was welcomed into Jesus' arms on the afternoon of February 21st, 2024, with her daughter at her bedside. She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Mabel Peath, her beloved husband of 64 years, Bernie, her daughter Diane Root, and her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Gerry Peath. She is survived by her daughter Karen Boyack Brock, her grandsons Patrick Boyack and Andrew Root, her brother-in-law Lou (Karen) Root, as well as a nephew, nieces and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>Doris enjoyed a long and wonderful life. She loved being a Grandma, and her grandsons couldn't have been blessed with a better one. Two of her favorite things were playing bridge and square dancing. She enjoyed both immensely for many, many years. Doris will be remembered as a very warm, kind, and loving woman, Mother, Gammy, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.</p><p><br></p><p>A Graveside Service will be held for family and close friends on Tuesday, February 27th at 11am at Irondequoit Cemetery.</p>

Doris enjoyed a long and wonderful life. She loved being a Grandma, and her grandsons couldn't have been blessed with a better one. Two of her favorite things were playing bridge and square dancing.
