<p>Mary Eleanor Reed, age 85 from Frankfort, MI, died on February 21, 2024. She</p><p>was born in Grand Rapids, MI. She is preceded in death by her late husband Floyd</p><p>W. Reed; father and mother, Harold and Mary Bartz, from Traverse City, MI;</p><p>brother Harold Bartz from CA; and grandson, Ian Reed, of Louisville, KY. She is</p><p>survived by her four daughters: Rose Lepke and Patty Nelson of Frankfort, MI;</p><p>Bonnie (Tim) Heaney from Louisburg, NC; Becki Kelly from Clayton, NC; and son</p><p>Jeff (Tina) Reed of Louisville, KY.</p><p><br></p><p>Mary is survived by 10 grandchildren: Paul Kelly, Christiaan Kelly, Abby Reed</p><p>(Jesse) Vaughn, Jasmine (Adam) Foust, Erika Lepke, Emilie (Dane) Colby, Ashley</p><p>(Christopher) Meeuwes, Amy (Michael) McCaskill, Alicia (Tim) Babiasz, and Tad</p><p>Reed. She is survived by 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her second</p><p>family and neighbors- Willie, Sue, Trevor, and Danny Lee. Mary will be missed by</p><p>her church family at the 1st Congregational Church of Frankfort, MI.</p><p><br></p><p>Mary’s favorite activity was traveling to her children’s homes in various places</p><p>throughout the United States (AL, NC, GA, NE, KY, MI). At home, she enjoyed</p><p>baking, cooking, reading, mowing her yard, and loving on her many cats and dogs</p><p>throughout her life-time. She spent 20 years working at Paul Oliver Memorial</p><p>Hospital, worked in several restaurants, and finished her working years with</p><p>Continental Industries as a sewing operator. In retirement, Mary served on</p><p>several committees at the 1 st Congregational Church and she especially enjoyed</p><p>her time leading the Women’s Fellowship Group.</p><p><br></p><p>There is a service scheduled for Saturday, February 24 th , with visitation from</p><p>10:30-11:30, and a service at 11:30 followed by a luncheon.</p>

Mary Eleanor Reed, age 85 from Frankfort, MI, died on February 21, 2024. She

was born in Grand Rapids, MI. She is preceded in death by her late husband Floyd
