Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Joseph “Joey” Morgan, 70, who passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 12:25 P.M. at Legacy Nursing and Rehab of Franklin.

Deacon Denis LaCroix, from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.

The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Tuesday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-two years, Evelyn S. Morgan of Crowley; one daughter, Vanessa and husband, James Dewald of Houma; one son, Shannon and wife, Mendy Morgan of Sweeney, TX; seven grandchildren, Brittany and husband, Mark Spell, Shelbie and husband, Troy Bourque, Jourdain Morgan, Jaydalen Morgan, Rogan Morgan, Brooke Dewald, and Jerahmi Dewald; seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Morgan is preceded in death by his grandson, Gage Morgan; his parents, Winford and Ruth Morgan; two brothers, Randy, and Dickie Morgan; one sister, Sandra Borde.
