Lorraine Marguerite Betancourt
<p>Lorraine Marguerite Betancourt of Yardley, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the Artis Senior Living in Yardley, Pennsylvania. She was 79 years old.</p><p><br></p><p>Born and raised in Manhattan, New York City, Lorraine later lived in Queens. Lorraine and her husband Tomy retired to Bucks County 14 years ago. Lorraine earned her associate degree as a registered nurse from Queens College, City University of New York. Her last nursing position was at P.S. 222 Christopher Santoro School in Queens, NY.</p><p><br></p><p>Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy and she particularly doted on her grandchildren. A woman of deep faith, Lorraine was an active member of the ministry at the Calvary Full Gospel Church in Fairless Hills. She was a music lover and a gifted pianist and enjoyed playing for her family and children. Lorraine enjoyed crocheting and exercise.</p><p><br></p><p>Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Tomas Jose Betancourt, the mother of the late Paul John Gill, the daughter of the late Louis and Patricia Martin Daniel, the sister of the late Mary Crevina and the aunt of the late Michael Crevina and Jesse Lawson, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Michelle Gill-Martinez and Jose Martinez of Yardley; her grandchildren Skye Martinez and Luke Martinez of Yardley, Aaron Gill of Woodbury, CT and Joshua Gill and his wife Christine of Utah; and her sister and brother-in-law June and Jesse Lawson of Stockton, NJ. Lorraine is also survived by her nieces and nephews and their families including Brian Boltri, Tammy Di Ienno, Janet Kurzinowski, Martin Crevina and his wife Jean, Mark Crevina and his wife Paulette, and Daniel Crevina.</p><p><br></p><p>Relatives and friends are invited to the Calvary Full Gospel Church, 676 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania 19030 on Saturday, February 24, 2024 for viewing and visitation from 10 am until 11:30 am and for a Celebration of Lorraine’s Life starting at 11:30 am. </p><p><br></p><p>Interment will be private.</p><p><br></p><p>Donations in Lorraine’s memory may be made to the Calvary Christian School and Daycare Center, 676 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills, PA 19030.</p>Obituary
