<p>Jane Virginia Gondoras was born to Hansel and Margaret McCown in Pennsgrove, New Jersey, on October 21, 1939, and passed into eternal life in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on February 19, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane married August Gus Gondoras on August 3, 1957. Gus spent his career in the Air Force, and together they traveled around the country. They were stationed at Homestead Air Force Base, Florida; Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia; Norton Air Force Base, California; Fort Dix, New Jersey; and Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, where Gus retired, and they lived from 1969 to 2011. In 2011, they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado to be near their family.</p><p><br></p><p>During her time living in Colorado Springs, she was able to do some traveling which she enjoyed. She traveled to Las Vegas, and Laughlin, Nevada, and was able to go on a cruise to the Caribbean with her family. She enjoyed meeting new people and kept busy while doing it. She volunteered at nursing homes, she enjoyed going to dances and events with her friends, went to veteran’s associations gatherings, and concerts at the sate fair.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane loved cooking, especially for family and large groups, she also enjoyed baking and cake decorating. She enjoyed going to eat out at restaurants and picnics. Visiting casinos and watching funny movies were also beloved activities.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane is survived by her husband, August Gondoras; three children, George Gondoras, Nicholas Gondoras, Martha Garfield (nee’ Gondoras); son-in-law, Frank Garfield; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.</p><p><br></p>
