With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Joy Eleanor Frasson (Bleich), on Sunday Feb 18, 2024, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved mother of Gaye Skanes (Noel), Dean, Dale (Rona), Loving Grandmother to Ashley Rampersad (Martin) and Brittany Hughes, Great Grandmother to Clara and Abigail. Survived by her Sister Janice Hallam, Sisters-in-law Dena, Ida, Virginia and Brother-in-law Bruno Frasson, also many nieces and nephews, and other family. Predeceased by her husband Louis Frasson (1980), her parents Daisy and George Bleich, Brothers Fred, Bob, and Sisters Edith and Betty. Mom retired from Canadian General Tower (2001), she loved her cats, jigsaw puzzles, and especially celebrating Christmas while cherishing her moments with family. Mom was also kind and generous with her charitable donations. Special thanks to Dr. Zhu, home care, paramedics, first responders, Cambridge Memorial and St. Mary’s hospital staff and nurses. As per her wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Joy's memory to MS Canada would be appreciated by the family.
