<p>Hubert “Pete” C. Perry, age 90, a resident of Dracut, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Frances L. (Keras) Perry who passed away in 2015. </p><p><br></p><p>He was born in Tewksbury on December 7, 1933 and was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Paquette) Perry.</p><p><br></p><p>Pete proudly served in the Infantry and Armor divisions of the Army National Guard from 1951 through 1960. He worked at Sweetheart Plastics until 2004 when the company was sold. In his retirement, he and Frances traveled the world and visited Alaska, Hawaii, Fiji, Italy, Australia, and many more beautiful places. In 2009, he came out of retirement and worked at the Immaculate Conception Parish as a handyman until April of 2023. Pete had a special talent for building and fixing anything you brought to him. He also had a knack for fixing cars. One of his favorite places was his workshop in the basement. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Pete is survived by his children, John Perry, Paula Booze and her husband James, and Stephen Perry; his grandchildren, Christopher Booze and his wife Caitlin, Timothy Booze, and Kristin Perry and her husband Brayner Sanchez; his great grandchild, Emanuel Sanchez; his siblings, Claire Nutt, Rita Gagnon and her husband Moris, Eileen Rousseau and her husband, Joseph, and William Perry and his wife Jane; and his sisters-in-law, Lou Perry and Nancy Cole.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his siblings, Robert Perry, Roland Perry, Richard Perry, Raymond Perry, Roger Perry and his wife Patricia, Theresa Dufault and her husband Robert, Doris Porier and her husband George, Pauline Perry, and Grace Margaret Perry.</p><p><br></p><p>Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 23rd from 9am to 11am at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT followed by his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 12pm at the Immaculate Conception Parish, 144 East Merrimack St., LOWELL. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, LOWELL.</p>
