Purves, John Anthony

October 11, 1935 - February 10, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Purves on February 10, 2024 in Port Moody, B.C. at age 88.

John was predeceased by his parents Marguerite Lenzen and George Purves, and 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Ann, children Diane (Bill), Sharon (Matt), Brian, Glen (Marla), grandchildren Richard, David, Leo, Madeleine, Isabella, Cameron and nieces and nephews.

John was a very generous person and volunteered countless hours for the church, and for many other groups. He enjoyed sports and played softball and slopitch until 2018. He was probably the best bus driver ever.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 27th at 11:00am at All Saints Parish, 821 Fairfax St., Coquitlam.
