Phillip Bryan Pitts

Phillip Bryan Pitts, 63, of Star City, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, February 20, 2024. He was born June 22, 1960, in Pine Bluff to John and Laverne Pitts.

Phillip was reared and graduated from White Hall High School in 1979. He was a member Dollarway Baptist Church was a faithful Christian. He loved reading his Bible and spending time with the Lord.

He spent his younger years on dirt tracks, racing at Midway Speedway and the C Class as number 32. Phillip loved boxing and MMA, he also enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren about boxing. Most of all, Phillip loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Phillip was an operator at the Pine Bluff Street Department for 31 years, then Jefferson County Road Department for 8 years. His co-workers were like family. He loved each and everyone of them.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Barney Wells Sr.; grandson, Jacob Wells; and one brother, John Pitts.

Survivors include his loving wife, Cindy Moore Pitts; two daughters, Christy Johnson (Stephon) and Tammie Huante; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Donna Aud (Robert); and 2 nieces.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 22, 2024, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Robinson and Fuller White Hall. Graveside service will be 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2024 at Graceland Cemetery.
