Tonee Ann Gevedon Obituary

Obituary of Tonee Ann Gevedon

Our loving mother, wife, sister and grammy Tonee Ann Gevedon unexpectedly passed away on

Saturday January 20th 2024. Tonee was born on August 7th 1958 to parents Jesus Gonzales

and Mary Lou Corso in Reseda California. Tonee had two older sisters Candee and Susan.

Upon graduating from Cleveland High School in 1976 Tonee got Married and became a mother

of two children, Vincent George Price and Jessika Ann Price. While being a wonderful mother

Tonee worked at Savon as the manager and later on worked for a property management

company. Tonee decided to retire early and dedicate her life to being a full time mom. She never

missed any baseball games, or school functions for Vince and Jessika. In 1995 Tonee moved to

Temecula California with her kids. In May of 2001 Tonee became a grandmother to Kayleigh.

Having Kayleigh around brought so much joy to her. She was diligent in helping get her to

school and home, water polo games and Tae Kwon Do competitions and practices. One of

Tonee’s greatest joys was being “Grammy”. She has a knack of making sure Kayleigh had her

Sunny Delight and vitamins every morning and was never late for school drop off and pick ups.

In 2006 Tonee met the love of her life Bill Gevedon. They met on April 12th 2002 on a blind

date. Bill enjoyed spoiling Tonee the way she deserved and throughout their entire marriage Bill

and Tonee were inseparable. Bill loved buying jewelry and arranging flowers and surprising her

with fresh bouquets on a regular basis. Tonee loved Bill and loved to spoil him with her

homemade meatloaf and cherry pies. They both loved spending time with their dogs over the

years as well. First Lucy and most recently Angel. Angel loved hopping onto Tonee’s lap and

cuddling until she fell asleep.

Tonee lived an abundant life surrounded by many friends and family who loved her so much.

Tonee had an infatuation with Tigger, decorated her house with many and even got a tattoo of

Tigger.

In October of 2022 Tonee became the Mother of the Bride when her daughter Jessika Married

Chase Sexton. Watching her daughter marry her soul mate was a special moment for Tonee.

She was so delighted to be included in every moment of Jessika’s wedding. In 2023 Tonee was

able to see her only granddaughter, Kayleigh graduate from college and walk across the stage

to receive her degree in Business. She enjoyed going out to breakfast with Bill and the family

and taking trips to the beach to see sea lions.

Tonee is preceded in death by her Mother Mary Lou Parks, her Father Jesus Gonzales

step-mother Freda Gonzales.

Tonee is survived by her loving husband William Gevedon, her daughter Jessika (Chase)

Sexton, her son Vincent Price, her step-daughter Emily Bjorn Langslet, and her only

granddaughter Kayleigh Shelton-Price. She is also survived by her two sisters Candee (Fred)

Mefford and Susan (Steve) Porta as well as two nieces and two nephews and their families.
