FIELD, Howard George -

After a short battle with cancer, Howard passed away on February 18, 2024 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in 79th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty) for 57 years. Loving father of Susanne (Greg Jemmett) and Craig. Cherished grandfather of Vanessa, Nathan, Amanda and Samantha. Proud Great-grandfather of Darius. Dear brother of Bob (Lorraine), Marvin (Shirley), the late Clarence (Mildred), the late Hilda and the late Jessie. Howard will be remembered as a wonderful person and the love of Betty’s life. He was a man of many hobbies who was always there to lend a hand and particularly enjoyed drawing writing poems that his family will cherish. Visitation will be held at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2 – 3pm followed by a short family led service at 3pm. Cremation.
