Donna Sue White Obituary

Donna Sue (Mobley) White, 65-year-old well known Vinita resident, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was born on December 8, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas to Robert E. and Charlotte F. (Heltzel) Mobley. Donna was a 1978 graduate of Vinita High School, then attended NEO A&M College, and Rogers State College. She married Randy White on March 9, 1981, in Miami. Donna worked over the years for DANA, Eastern State Hospital, Quik Trip, B & L Cleaners, and her in home daycare. She had served on the Johnson O’Malley committee for Vinita Public Schools, volunteered for games that her children and grandchildren engaged in, including FFA, Rodeos, and numerous other activities.

She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather Vernon “Pops” Woolman, aunts, Annie Jones, Ellen Heltzel, Virgia Payton, Eva Bethel, and Emma Harp, uncles, Ted Dixon, Harvey Jones, Alvi Heltzel, Bob Payton, John and Joe Heltzel, Dale Heltzel, and Leon Harp.

The family includes her husband Randy White of the home, mother, Charlotte Woolman of Newcastle, son Jay White and wife Laura of Pryor, Jennifer Cates and husband Kevin of Vinita, brother, Eddie Mobley and fiancé` Jessica of Fayetteville, Arkansas, sister, Debbie Littlejohn and husband Mike of Newcastle, three grandchildren, Cody Nichols, Adriana and Korbin Cates, numerous bonus grandchildren and bonus daughters and sons, host of sister in-laws, brother in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was also a sister and grandma to many of her native family as well.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral Home Chapel. The celebration of life will be held on Wednesday February 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Vinita Community Church, 226 W Canadian Ave., Vinita, OK 74301, Pastor Skip McClain will officiate.
