McCLUSKEY, John Anthony

May 23, 1946 – February 18, 2024

Suddenly entered into rest at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, on Sunday, February 18, 2024, John McCluskey of Picton, died at the age of 77. Son of the late John McCluskey and Marjorie (nee Dilworth) and husband for 26 years of Beverly. Father of Angela Mays (Jim) of Millersville, Pennsylvania, Racheal Breese of Guelph, Aaron Thompson of Kitchener, and step-father of Sherry Elliott (Jason Bark) of Kingston, Candy Robidoux (Jason Herr) of Amherstview, Chris Elliott (Caitlyn) of Greater Napanee. Grandfather of Cody (Kaylea), Alicia, Damien, Casey (Brianna), Teaghan (Timmy), Xavier, Ashley, Aiden, Selena, Noah, Liam, and Graesyn and great grandfather of Emersyn and Eastyn. Survived by his siblings, Margaret Walker (Al), Linda Carter, Emily Dee (Bernard), Greg McCluskey (Rhonda), Rose Watson-McCluskey, all of Kingston, and Colleen Dobie (Jim) of Port Hope. Remembered by his 8 nephews, 6 nieces and his many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his nephew Paul Watson. Mr. McCluskey rested at the Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton.
