<p>Joanne Hohenstein of Furlong, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 15, 2024. She was 63.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas and Margaret (Mellon) Haag, Joanne resided in Horsham, PA before moving to Furlong, PA 22 years ago.</p><p><br></p><p>Joanne was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of Buckingham, enjoyed swimming and collecting McCoy Pottery.</p><p><br></p><p>She was the beloved wife and best friend of 41 years to Gerald Hohenstein; dear sister of Mary Patricia Fee and husband Richard; devoted sister-in-law of Maryann Colavito and husband Jim. She was predeceased by her late brothers-in-law William Hohenstein, James Hohenstein (who is survived by his wife Virginia), John Hohenstein and her late sister-in-law Barbara Lucillo (who is survived by her husband Lawrence); also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, and her cherished dog Otter.</p><p><br></p><p>A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902 on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 9:30-11:00 am, with a funeral mass to begin at 11:00 am.</p><p><br></p><p>Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to NAMI www.nami.org, American Heart Association www.heart.org, or Our Lady of Guadalupe Church www.olguadalupe.org would be appreciated.</p><p><br></p><p>Send condolences to www.varcoethomasfuneralhome.com</p>
