Michael M. Sharik
<p>Michael M. “Mickey” Sharik , Sr., age 71, a lifelong Seymour resident he entered in to peaceful rest on February 15, 2024. He was born January 25, 1953 in Derby, beloved son of the late Emil and Beverly (Landgren) Sharik. Mickey was retired from United Parcel Service where he worked for many years as a mechanic; he also previously worked at Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford as well. Mr. Sharik proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. </p><p><br></p><p>Mickey leaves his loving family including his son, Michael Sharik, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Naugatuck, his daughter, Michele Sharik of Naugatuck, his brothers, Steven O. Sharik of Naugatuck and Gary Sharik of Seymour, his sister, Carrie Sharik in MA, his grandchildren, Rebecca Sharik and fiancé Brandon Diaz, Abigail Sharik, Wayne Sharik, Connor Schultz, and Logan Schultz, his great granddaughter Carmen Diaz, his former wife, Marsha Bigos in SC, and nieces and nephews, Tyler, Daniel, Ryan, Felicia, Jill Davis, Jennifer, and Nicholas.</p><p><br></p><p>There are no calling hours.
