<p>Marlon Luther Cox, age 67 of Hardin, KY, passed from this life on Sunday, February 11, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>Marlon was born Thursday, May 17, 1956 in Mayfield, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Russell Cox and the late Anna Lou Ray Cox.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a retired home builder who could often be found drinking coffee with his "buddies" or enjoying conversations with family and friends in the rocking chairs on his front porch.</p><p><br></p><p>Marlon is survived by his daughter, Mindy Coble and husband Derrick, of Sparta, TN, his brother, Mark Cox and wife Melanie, of Benton, KY, three grandchildren: Halle, Haden, and Henlie Coble, all of Sparta, TN, a niece, Meagan Murphy (Daniel) of Wingo, KY, and a nephew, Clayton Flood of Murray.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, Marlon was preceded in death by his grandson, Holden Coble, brother, Michael Cox, and his nephew, Travis Cox.</p><p><br></p><p>A graveside memorial service for family and friends will be held at 2PM Friday, February 23, 2024 at the New Sand Hill Cemetery in Benton, Kentucky.</p><p><br></p><p>Online condolences may be made to the family at spencerfuneralhome.net</p>Obituary
