Mrs. Marian Lee Davis Neal was born to the late L.M. Davis and Rose Mae Davis on March 30,

1950. She transitioned from this earthly life on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

At an early age, Marian joined Harts Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Stapleton, GA. She worked at Stapleton Garment Factory in Stapleton, GA for many years. She later worked at Jefferson County High School in the custodial department until her retirement.

Marian was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cousin. She was one of the best aunts her nieces and nephews could ever have. Everyone whose lives she touched will miss her friendship, support, and love; but those who will miss her the most are her family members.

Marian was married to the late Johnnie C. Neal Sr. She is survived by her two children, Vanessa Wilburn, and Johnnie Neal, Jr. (Sheila Hannah). She had two brothers, James Everette Davis (deceased) and Melvin Davis (Mary Lattimore). Marian had one sister, Mary Davis, and three sisters-in-love, Evejean Avery, Jackie Smith, and Tresses Hall.

Marian was a proud grandmother of six grandchildren: Darien Wilburn, Sr. (Briyanna White), Marcus Avera, Sr. (Tyesha Avera), Anthony Avera, Sr., Jonathan Neal (Gabby Simpson), Candace Neal and Lakendra Holliday.

She was also a proud great-grandmother of ten great-grandchildren: Raiya Wilburn, Darien Wilburn, Jr., Marcus Avera, Jr., Ja’Kali Neal, Tony Coleman, Jr., Ja’Miyan Coleman, Ca’den Coleman, Serenity Holliday, Anthony Avera, Jr. and Noah Kash Avera. She had one niece, Keisha Hunter (Theo); two nephews, Casey Davis and Laterrance Davis, and one great-niece, Nia Hunter. She is survived by several beloved cousins.
