<p>Services for Luke Howard, 41, of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Athens are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the First Baptist Church Athens with Bro. Mike Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Shelby Chapel Cemetery near Athens under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home. </p><p><br></p><p>Luke passed on February 10, 2024, in Dallas.</p><p><br></p><p>Lucas Adam Howard was born March 3, 1982, in Corsicana, Texas, the son of Garry Lynn Howard and Sandra Kristine (Cook) Howard. He married the love of his life Kristina (Howe) nearly twenty years ago and he has spent his entire career as a very sought after pipe liner. He began his career spending 4 years with Flint Energy, moving over to work with RD Quinn for 8 years before spending the last 5 years with SPS (Superior Pipeline Services. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, camping and barbequing his favorite cuts of meat in his smoker. Luke was a family man who loved his wife and babies above all else and will forever be remembered and missed. </p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by brother Seth Andrew Howard, his paternal grandparents, Jink and Wanda Howard and his maternal grandparents, Peter and Ruth Cook.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his loving wife Kristina Howard of Burleson; four children, Lucas Howard, Lily-Anna Rose Howard, Lynleigh Howard all of Burleson and Camryn Grace Kellner of Frisco; parents, Garry and Sandy Howard of Athens; brother Jesse Howard and wife Andrea of Azle; nieces, Jessa and Mabry Howard; his best friend Jeremy Morrison and a host of other family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the go fund me account to help with his family’s (wife and children) difficult times ahead. www.https//gofundme.com/f/luke-howard </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.</p>Obituary
