<p><br></p><p>On Friday February 9, 2024, Virgil James Hunter, 85 years old, departed from this life onto eternity to be with our Lord and Savior.</p><p><br></p><p>Virgil was born May 24, 1938, to James and Elector Hunter. He received his formal education through Muskegon Heights public school and then he served 4 years in the United States Air Force where he was an aircraft mechanic. Virgil also took training classes in metallurgy in Chicago which he used when he worked at West Michigan Steel until his retirement.</p><p><br></p><p>Virgil met and married Mammie Pulliam&nbsp; and has been married for 59 years. Virgil and his wife Mammie were members of Phillip Chapel A.M.E. Church.</p><p><br></p><p>Virgil leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Mammie Hunter of Muskegon MI, Brother Mack (Marie) Hunter of South America.</p><p><br></p><p>Virgil will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend</p><p><br></p><p>Virgil was proceeded in death by his father and mother, James and Elector Hunter and brother Nathan Hunter.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

On Friday February 9, 2024, Virgil James Hunter, 85 years old, departed from this life onto eternity to be with our Lord and Savior.


Virgil was born May 24, 1938, to James and Elector Hunter. He received his formal education through Muskegon Heights public school and then he served 4 years in the United States Air Force where he was an aircraft mechanic. Virgil also took training classes in metallurgy in Chicago which he used when he worked at West Michigan Steel until his retirement.


Virgil met and married Mammie Pulliam  and has been married for 59 years. Virgil and his wife Mammie were members of Phillip Chapel A.M.E. Church.
