Michael George Parich was born in Portland, Oregon on September 22, 1954 to George and Ruth Pirich. He died February 3, 2024 in Redmond, Oregon. He was 69 years old.

Growing up in Hillsboro, Mike attended Brookwood Elementary, East Junior High, and graduated from Hillsboro Union High School in 1972. He continued to Eugene and attended University of Oregon, receiving a Bachelor of Architecture in 1977. Mike was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

Mike began his architecture profession with Mackenzie/Saito Architects and Engineers in 1977 and continued with other firms, including his own throughout his career. Mike completed large senior living facilities in Oregon, Washington, and California.

In 1978 he married Beatrice Ballard and had two sons, Michael Ryan and Steven Joseph. In 1992 Mike married Patricia Manders. They enjoyed golfing and traveling in their motor home with canine companion Chloe.

Throughout his life, Mike enjoyed skiing and gardening. He was an enthusiastic Duck fan as well. Mike also enjoyed fishing with his long-time friends Robin, Randy, and Craig. They shared many adventures together.

In 2019, Mike moved to Redmond, Oregon. He continued to do architecture projects but soon retired, volunteering at the BrightSide Animal Shelter and Center. He adopted Roxy, a schipperke and terrier mix who remained his constant companion for the rest of his life.

Mike is also survived by his siblings, Julie Jellison (Frank), Peggy Schultz (Mark), and several nieces and nephews.

Mike is buried at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland, Oregon next to his family. 

A Remembrance service will be held later this year in Redmond, Oregon.
