Dale Lynne Barra, age 64, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at home surrounded by loved ones. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 and won her battle every day for four long years.

She was born in Buffalo, NY, with her twin brother on November 9, 1959, to Robert and Roberta (Jones) Kimmel. She is survived by her two siblings, Sharon and Bobby. She was predeceased by her siblings, Robin and Daryl. She was a beloved wife to Daniel Barra, and mother to her daughters and sons; Gwendolynne, Jessica, Daniel, Michael, Mark, and Abelina. She was a grandmother to ten grandchildren. She had a strong responsibility for family.

Dale was a bus driver for fifteen years where she forged powerful friendships. She enjoyed working with children, driving school bus, and eating delicious food. She will always be remembered for her strength, fighting to the end and supporting all those around her.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 16 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Christ United Church of Christ, 132 Church Road, Barnesville, PA 18214. Church services will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Joshua Nemeth officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ Church Cemetery. Repass will follow the burial at The Beacon Diner in Tamaqua.
