<p>Hancock: James Michael Bryant, 44, of Summit Street in Hancock, passed away on Saturday morning, February 10, 2024 at U.P. Health System – Marquette Hospital following a short illness of natural causes. </p><p>He was born on August 24, 1979 in Hancock to Ann Marie (Julio) and the late John P. Bryant. He attended Hancock Schools where he played on the boy's basketball team. He worked for the Daily Mining Gazette for many years, but in later years he became his father's caregiver until he passed away. </p><p>James enjoyed reading and playing video games. He also enjoyed his families pet dogs. </p><p>James was preceded in death by his father, John; and by grandparents, Prudent “Butch” and Betty Bryant, and Lawrence Julio. </p><p>He is survived by his mother, Ann Marie Julio of Hancock; siblings John Bryant, Andrew Bryant, Joseph Julio, Christopher Julio, and Anastasia “Stacey” Bryant all of Hancock; a nephew Kyler Bryant; grandmother, Betty Julio of Ripley; and by aunts, uncles, and cousins. </p><p>Family services for James will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to his family. </p><p>The O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home in Hancock is assisting with the arrangements. He was born on August 24, 1979 in Hancock to Ann Marie (Julio) and the late John P. Bryant. He attended Hancock Schools where he played on the boy's basketball team. He worked for the Daily Mining Gazette for many years, but in later years he became his father's caregiver until he passed away.

James enjoyed reading and playing video games. He also enjoyed his families pet dogs.
