Gary Glenn "Radar" Ellis, 68, husband of Lynn Ellis, died Monday, February 12th, 2024 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. Born August 22, 1955 he was the son of the late William Glenn and Lora Jean Moran Ellis. He was a retired Hitachi employee and self employed painter and a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed drag racing around Kentucky and Tennessee and loved watching Westerns and Classic Movies, listening to country music and WHBN the Rooster.

Additional survivors including his wife are two sons: Christopher Glenn Ellis of Harrodsburg and Jeremy Jackson Ellis of Harrodsburg. He was preceded in death by his infant sister.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home & Cremation Services with John Kesel officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Ed Lay, Ronnie Chenault, Gary Coslow, Warren Stratton, Mitch Bugg and Charles Russell serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Steve and Debbie Tyler, Bennie Ross, James O'Nan, Steve Claunch and Gayle Satterly.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
